    Antech Diagnostics, the largest exclusively commercial veterinary diagnostic laboratory in the nation, is in search of a Project/Product Manager working out of our Santa Monica office and reporting directly to Vice President Sales & Marketing.

                        

    As part of the VCA Family, which operates the largest network of freestanding, full-service animal hospitals in the nation, Antech Diagnostics delivers state of the art testing and consulting services to practicing veterinarians.  Our diagnostic spectrum of tests in areas of chemistry, pathology, endocrinology, serology, hematology, and microbiology enhance the veterinarians ability to detect, diagnose, evaluate and prevent disease and other conditions affecting animals.

    Responsibilities

    Our Project/Product Manager will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.  This includes acquiring and coordinating the efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The project manager will also define the projects objectives and oversee quality control through its life cycle. 

    • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
    • Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities. 
    • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
    • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to the client
    • Effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards
    • Manage Project budget
    • Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing and monitor receivables for the project 

    Qualifications

    • Doctor Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
    • At least 1 year of marketing experience
    • Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiation and problem solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
    • Proven ability to work effectively with clients and management is required
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Passionate for the well-being and health of animals is a must,
