    Antech Diagnostics, the largest exclusively commercial veterinary diagnostic laboratory in the nation, is in search of a Equipment Specialist reporting directly to Regional Manager.


    As part of the VCA Family, which operates the largest network of freestanding, full-service animal hospitals in the nation, Antech Diagnostics delivers state of the art testing and consulting services to practicing veterinarians.  Our diagnostic spectrum of tests in areas of chemistry, pathology, endocrinology, serology, hematology, and microbiology enhance the veterinarians ability to detect, diagnose, evaluate and prevent disease and other conditions affecting animals.


    Antech Diagnostics currently has an opportunity for Equipment Specialist in the Pacific Northwest Region. Candidate should be located in the Seattle, WA or San Francisco,CA area. 


    This territory covers Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon, and California.


    The ideal candidate will have prior experience with capital medical equipment sales within the veterinary Industry .  Dedicated to managing and growing their territory by promoting, selling, and supporting Antech Diagnostic services to local Veterinarians. Our Equipment Specialist not only knows their business and the products that we offer but are also deeply committed to the needs of their clients. We are all about developing solid relationships with our veterinary clients.

    • Identify, qualify and close business leads and sales opportunities in assigned territory.
    • Prospect, forecast, and drive new business opportunities within the territory
    • Understand and maintain a high level of knowledge about the target market, as well as the products and services offered by Antech Diagnostics and Sound.
    • Demonstrate products and effectively communicate corporate and product positioning to prospective customers.
    • Work closely with new and existing industry partners.
    • Work closely with sales team regarding lead generation activities
    • Represent Antech Diagnostics/Sound in a professional manner in the assigned territory, and at regional and national trade-shows


    Candidates should have diagnostic imaging or capital medical equipment sales experience, preferably in Animal Health-care industry.   The Ideal candidates will have a demonstrable record of previous sales performance success with a track record of generating leads and closing deals.  Business to Business Sales experience is a plus. Solid time management skills and the ability to organize prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences.  Professional and effective interpersonal skills. Enthusiasm and the ability to meet established goals.

    • Candidates should have 2+ years diagnostic imaging sales experience
    • Experience building a pipeline, qualifying and identifying deals to close.
    • Working knowledge of Veterinary and/or clinical diagnostic environment.  
    • Candidates must be able to travel approximately 75% of the time within their assigned territory and may require overnight travel. Must be able to drive over two hours consecutively.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
