Responsibilities

Antech Diagnostics is in search for an experienced VP of Global Data and Analytics.  This position will will articulate the strategic opportunities for data analytics, to develop and deliver the roadmap to use cases from Science to Marketing, to develop the resources and upskill the businesses, and to drive the data strategy all as a connected part of the Petcare ecosystem. Reporting into our CFO with a dual reporting responsibility to the Global Petr Data & Analytics leader, this role will engage stakeholders within Mars Veterinary Health to create and deliver the Data & Analytics strategy, the role will also provide connectivity with other Divisions for broader Ecosystem impact and benefit creation. 

 

  • Engage Mars Veterinary Health leadership to define the strategic priorities for “Powered By Data” – identifying where our Pet and Pet Owner data and analytics capabilities can drive new levels of pet benefits and/or business performance.
  • Ensure resourcing is aligned with the plan in cooperation with the global Petcare Data & Analytics team, and budget plans reconciled as appropriate across the business.
  • Lead the design of the Mars Veterinary Health D&A organization and talent for global, regional and local market needs in partnership with P&O (People and Organization) and global D&A lead.
  • Align talent needs for ecosystem initiatives with global D&A team, so they are able to support
  • Lead the development of Division data assets, privacy frameworks and data standards as part of the broader Petcare data strategy.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will  have the  following:

  • BA/BS with concentration in Life Sciences, Business or Mathematics; MS/MBA/PhD preferred
  • 15 years’ of experience in this space, with particular focus on working with consumer centric data for consumer-centric outcomes
  • Strong understanding of Data Protection and Privacy principles and practices including GDPR
  • Experience in working with data and deliver business-changing analytics, data science and marketing personalization
  • Proven ability in working with technical teams on data, data science, advanced analytics, visualization and statistics to guide and lead them to impactful outcomes
  • Proven experience in creating and chairing meetings with senior stakeholders
  • Great inter-personal skills and insight story-telling capabilities 
  • Proven ability to guide and partner with senior business leaders including Division and Segment Leadership teams, C-level technology leaders, Chief Privacy Officer  
  • Great at developing new relationships, driving positive change, and highly innovative
  • Ability to motivate and influence highly skilled professionals across geographies and business units to achieve major organizational goals
  • Ability to communicate complex subjects in a clear and simple way
  • Superior time management, planning, project management and organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail is a must
  • Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues with ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to travel internationally as needed
