Antech Diagnostics is in search of an experienced  VP Product Development, Point of Sale. This position will be responsible for for driving a comprehensive Point of Care product strategy from product conception, definition and delivery.  This role is responsible for proving critical input into the POC development activities and into the development of documentation and road-maps associated with managing the POC life-cycle including responsibility to identify, engage, and manage third party strategic relationships.

  • Conduct market, competitive and client research to identify needs and trends.
  • Support idea generation and contribute to identifying innovative, high value solutions.
  • Define the POC product profile and other solution requirements, including initial business case and strategic rationale.
  • Work within cross functional team to use assigned resources to develop and deploy offering.
  • Participate in launch team, to ensure pricing, reporting, training, marketing/promotion, channel strategies and tactics are launch ready.
  • Manage life cycle decisions through tracking performance against objectives and client satisfaction.
  • Design and field market research (POC focused) as needed.
  • Identify and develop effective communication strategies using personal selling and other tactics as appropriate; validate strategy and effectiveness of execution (e.g. trade shows, sales collateral, etc.).
  • Set the POC strategy, identify and introduce the product; as well as ensure that it creates incredible end-to-end experiences for clients.


The ideal candidate will  have the  following:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing and/or Product Management
  • 7+ years of relevant experience and knowledge of diagnostics
  • Advanced degree/ MBA preferred.
  • Understanding how value is delivered through the enterprise
  • Extremely strong written and oral communication and excellent influencing/collaboration skills across many functions and levels
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop deep insights about clients and convert understanding of market and client needs into superior/unique offering
  • Business acumen (including finance) and judgment
  • Project management skills, especially balancing short- and long-term strategic plans
  • Understanding how value is delivered through the enterprise
  • Passion and success knowing what makes clients happy and how their needs translate into product and business strategy
  • Collaborative mindset and track record of managing cross-functional teams to drive strong execution
  • Computer skills to comfortably and confidently use a computer and specialized software. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.
  • Some overnight travel required
