Responsibilities

 

Antech Diagnostics currently has an opportunity for a Associate Director, National Accounts, working remotely and reporting to our VP National Accounts. This is a Remote Position.

 

Our Associate Director, National Accounts will use a consultative and strategic sales approach to grow our penetration of Antech Diagnostics, Imaging and Sound Technology solutions to existing and potential new clients. You will promote and deliver targeted diagnostic reference laboratory services, technology, and professional services solutions in order to grow and retain existing customers, as well too prospect  new clients.

 

 You will also create the strategy and implementation plan for promoting the strategic account business vision. This involves close collaboration with the Sales and Specialty Groups and developing appropriate sales support tools and internal standards and templates to ensure consistency of our value proposition in the marketplace and increase successful closing of sales opportunities.  

Qualifications

Candidates should have of previous sales management experience in a service industry, preferably in Animal Healthcare, Human Healthcare, Human Laboratory or Pharmaceutical sales.

 

 The Ideal candidates will have a demonstrable record of previous sales management performance success with a track record of generating leads and closing deals.  Business to Business Sales experience is a plus. Solid time management skills and the ability to organize prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences.  Professional and effective interpersonal skills. Enthusiasm and the ability to meet established goals.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or management, Administration/Animal Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience. Prior experience calling on veterinary channel or clinics preferred.
  • Prior Veterinary/Animal health industry experience preferred
  • Must be able to travel overnight 75%
