Antech Diagnostics, the largest exclusively commercial veterinary diagnostic laboratory in the nation, is in search of a  Full Time Day Shift  Warehouse Processor working out of our Chantilly, Virginia laboratory and reporting directly to the Lab Manager.

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Processor.  As a Warehours Processor, you will be responsible for moving incoming or outgoing stock items, check, verify and audit stock, enter and submit supply orders into Inventory order system (IOS), organize special requirements for chilled materials and/or fragile products and perform minor facility maintenance; contact outside vendors/contractors at the direction of the Lab Manager/RVP to address significant facility issues.


  • Receive all products into the warehouse and verify items including but not limited to reagents, solvents, tubes, etc.
  • Input received data into the IOS System from the Manufacturer packing slips. If there are any discrepancies, coordinate with Purchasing Agent who will contact the Vendor.
  • Responsible for properly storing hazardous chemicals and perishables in refrigerators and freezers according to Manufacturer guidelines.
  • Accountable for ensuring all perishable supplies are rotated on the shelves and verify the expiration dates accordingly.
  • Conduct weekly physical ‘cycle’ counts and verify inventory to ensure supplies are available.
  • Maintain the ‘Min’ / ‘Max’ inventory supply sheets to order supplies as needed by monitoring volume usage and recommending adjustments to the Dept.  Lab Manager as needed to prevent shortages or over purchasing.
  • Conduct Quarterly Inventory and randomly select items to ensure compliance and on hand Lab supply.
  • Ability to direct employees in the safe handling, storing and distribution of Lab supplies.
  • May be asked to perform other duties and/or participate in special projects.
