Overview

Antech Diagnostics, the largest exclusively commercial veterinary diagnostic laboratory in the nation, is in search of a Financial Analyst working out of our Fountain Valley office reporting directly to our Contracts & Compliance Manager.

 

As part of the VCA Family, which operates the largest network of freestanding, full-service animal hospitals in the nation, Antech Diagnostics delivers state of the art testing and consulting services to practicing veterinarians.  Our diagnostic spectrum of tests in areas of chemistry, pathology, endocrinology, serology, hematology, and microbiology enhance the veterinarians ability to detect, diagnose, evaluate and prevent disease and other conditions affecting animals.

Responsibilities

Our Financial Analyst is responsible for providing information and analysis essential for monthly reporting, identifying process improvements as well as recommendations for reporting and internal tracking improvements.

  • Responsible for creating standard, customized and ad hoc reports
  • Conduct analysis and provide business decision support and recommendations
  • Establish and provide routine reports for management
  • Support, recommend and/or drive continuous improvement in reporting and automation of data collection, data management and analysis process
  • Communicate and work with teams across multiple departments to achieve common goals.

 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Accounting, Economics or related field
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience as a finacial analyst, sales  analyst or related finance an analytical position
  • Advanced knowledge of excel with fluency with formulas and function
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
