Antech Diagnostics currently has an opportunity for a VP, Customer  Growth & Sales EnablementOur VP of Customer Growth & Sales Enablement is the functional link between marketing, sales, and the customer – where brand strategy is converted into revenue-ready leads. Encompassing sales training, program management, sales enablement, field marketing, and marketing operations, the Growth Team will leverage resources throughout the commercial organization (and Mars Petcare more broadly) to equip Antech’s sales and success professionals with the tools and tactics they need to convert competitive acquisitions, maximize in-clinic revenue expansion, and drive adoption of novel products and modalities. This role, which at times will be customer-facing, requires a true multifunctional commercial leader, capable of directing a team while simultaneously performing as a high-value contributor

The ideal candidate will have prior experience within the veterinary Industry and is dedicated to managing and growing their territory by promoting, selling, and supporting Antech Diagnostic services to local Veterinarians. Our Territory Managers not only know their business and the products we offer but are also deeply committed to the needs of their customers. We are all about developing solid relationships with our veterinary clients.


You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting sales calls to promote, sell, and service existing and potential animal hospitals, veterinarians and staff.
  • Providing product and lab diagnostic support and service, including consultation at staff in-services and veterinarian seminars.
  • Identifying customer needs for additional products and services as well as providing customers the best solution to their current practice needs.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with referral sources to establish a solid base of new business opportunities.
  • Assisting in establishing the company as the leader in veterinary lab diagnostics services and veterinary practice solutions.
  • Identifying, targeting and acquiring new business opportunities.


The Ideal candidate will have  following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Brand Marketing, Marketing or Advertising required (Master’s degree preferred), or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in branding, media coordination and analysis, developing and managing marketing plans, database marketing, merchandising, and creative services required.
  • Experience assessing and prioritizing business opportunities to determine which provide the best leverage required.
  • Management experience in a competitive geographically dispersed business required.
  • Strong business operations and the ability to bring a macro perspective to business are required.
  • Health care background required (veterinary or human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.).



  • Ability to multi-task – Manages multiple tasks at one time; quickly and accurately shifts attention among multiple tasks under distracting conditions without loss of accuracy or appearance of frustration.
  • Communication skills – Reads, writes and speaks fluent English, using appropriate grammar, style and vocabulary. Correctly, spells commonly used English words and job specific terms.   Demonstrates exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational ability – Demonstrates a systematic approach in carrying out assignments. Is very orderly and excels at cutting through confusion and turning chaos into order. 
  • Problem solving skills – Demonstrates a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems. Unusually decisive in handling difficult problems. Translates problems into practical solutions.
  • Client service skills – Consistently ensures the team provides the client with attentive, courteous and informative service. Gains and shows personal satisfaction from delivering great service.
  • Intellectual ability – Accurately and consistently follows instructions delivered in an oral, written or diagram format. Can provide directions.
  • Mathematical ability – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and to compute rate, ratio and percent; ability to convert units of measurement.
  • Computer skills – Comfortably and confidently uses a computer and specialized software. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.
  • Management skills – Ability to manage associates effectively, setting goals and direction, and holding individuals accountable to meet job expectations. Ability to successfully supervise, coach and mentor others. Displays positive attitude toward all Practice protocols, procedures, and systems.
  • Some overnight travel required
