Our QA Specialists are responsible for ensuring consistent quality of diagnostic testing, assist with validation of methods/assays, perform QA surveys and maintain good documentation and excellent lab/business practices. You will be responsible for all quality assurance and quality control functions relating to diagnostics testing, lab safety, analytical and instrumentation. You will ensure consistent quality of diagnostics testing, assist with validation of methods/assays, perform QA surveys and maintain good documentation and excellent lab/business practices.

Candidates should have a good working knowledge and understanding of current good lab practices within the diagnostic lab industry.  Be flexible, innovative, team player and be a self-starter results oriented person.  The ideal candidate will have strong technical, people and analytical skills pertaining to scientific and laboratory activities. Candidates also need to know how to accurately record and evaluate data using statistics software.  You must have good verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong problem solving skills.

• BS Degree in Medical Technology – MLT certification and minimum 1 year clinical lab experience Veterinary lab experience is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail; good organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to travel approximately 40%
