Responsibilities

Antech Diagnostics has an opportunity for a Director, Anatomic Pathology. 

 

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, Anatomic Pathology,  the Director of Anatomic Pathology will assist in driving the overall operational, clinical and financial performance of the Anatomic Pathology division.  In this role you will work in collaboration with the medical, laboratory operations, and finance leaders to establish annual performance goals, which are aligned with the strategy and purpose of Antech. You will play a key role in establishing effective strategies for the development of Anatomic Pathology services, veterinary services integration and resource utilization with the goal of increasing the divisions’ growth, efficiency, and client experience. 

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following:

 

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent
  • ACVP Board Certification
  • Master of Health Administration (MHA), Master of Public Health (MPH), or Master of Business Administration (MBA) a plus
  • Diplomat of American College of Veterinary Pathologist
  • 10 years’ + experience in veterinary pathology including operations, strategic planning, financial analysis and project management experience.  Financial management and budgeting experience also required, as is experience in developing and implementing performance improvement initiatives
  • 5 years’ + managerial experience
