Production Supervisor

The Production & Service Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Production & Service Department (all modalities). This role will be responsible for the departments build schedule to ensure the department is hitting KPI’s outlined by the Director of Customer Operations. This position will manage intra-department personnel to configure, test, manufacture, and continuously improve the products we build. In addition, this individual will meet daily service repair needs of designated equipment and serves as an escalation point related to service/support and production issues. The Production & Service Supervisor will collobarate and work cross functionally with other departments. Incumbent will drive product quality, serviceability, and resolve formal customer escalations to help promote service business growth.


  • Responsible for maintaining service levels surrounding turnaround times, production QA, and customer billing.
  • Communicate technical issues through daily collaboration with R&D and Customer Support.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and serviceability of customer loaner/rental pool for supported product lines.
  • Serve as a escalation point for engineers, technicians & Leads to help solve complex hardware and software issues relating to Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, Laser, DoctorVet, and Cytology.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners and production administrators on resolving new and pending product and install base issues; participate on weekly calls with vendors; ensure RMA/RTV process workflow aligns with business needs.
  • Responsible for hardware inspections to ensure quality assurance and appropriate steps are followed.
  • Work closely with the Director of Customer Operations to implement and improve standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborates with internal team to optimize customer experience through service workflow and manufacturing operations.
  • Train all technicians and Engineers on hardware assembly, soldering and fabrication of goods to complete orders.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate QA records of repair and manufacture products (e.g. CRM, Production logs, End of line Certificates).
  • Manage parts inventory, part number creation, and bill of material management
  • Any additional duties assigned by the Director of Customer Operations


Work Experience Requirments

  • Minimum 1-2 Years of supervisor experience
  • Must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and professional. Strong Communication skill; deals tactfully and effectively with leadership, peers and direct reports.
  • Ability to lead and meet multiple project deadlines.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Case and RMA experience, highly desired
  • Experience with diagnosing, installing, and repairing hardware and software
  • Recent production assembly line experience
  • General knowledge of medical devices, PACS, and DICOM
  • 2-3 years work experience and knowledge of ERP and CRM

Education Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or qualified to a degree level or equivalent

Physical Requirements

  • Walking the production and service floor throughout the day, repairing systems, communicating on the phone and computer, occasional lifting up to 50lbs, and administrative work
  • Extensive typing & data entry
